ShareYourPets is operated by Yarkii LLC. “We” below means Yarkii LLC. It is a small site rather than a staffed service, which is worth knowing before you rely on it for anything that matters.

Browsing is open to anyone. Posting needs a free account, which you get by signing in with Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Photographs of your own pets. That is the whole idea. Please do not post:

• Photographs somebody else took, unless they have said you may.
• Anything showing an animal being harmed or neglected.
• People who have not agreed to appear — this is a site about animals.
• Anything unlawful, hateful, or sexual.
• Advertising, spam, or links to anything that is not the photograph.

We can remove anything that breaks these rules and close accounts that keep doing it. We would much rather tell you first.

You keep every right you had in your photographs. We do not become an owner of anything you post, and we will never sell your photograph to anyone else or license it on for someone else’s product.

One thing that follows from being public, and which we would rather say plainly than leave you to discover. This site lets search engines and AI assistants read its public pages, and that includes the companies who use what they read to train their models. We do not hand your photographs to them and we are not paid for it — we simply do not block them, the way most of the web does not. It is how a small site gets found now.

If that is not a trade you want to make, do not post here. There is no version of this where a photograph is public on the web and reliably unreadable by a model.

What you do give us, by ticking the box when you post, is permission to use that photograph for this site: to store it, show it, resize and re-encode it so it loads quickly, and to use it in promoting ShareYourPets — which includes commercial promotion, such as advertising the site itself. That permission is non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free, and it exists so we can run and grow a site that shows other people’s pets without asking again every time. It does not extend past that.

Only post a photograph you took yourself, or one you plainly have the right to hand over on these terms. That is what the box is confirming, and we keep a record of the confirmation.

Delete a post and the permission ends with it. The one exception is material already printed or published before you deleted — we cannot pull that back, though we will not use it again.

Worth knowing: when you upload a photograph we store a copy of it, and it is served publicly from our storage. Deleting the post removes it from the site.

Everything here was posted by somebody. If a photograph is yours and should not be here, write to [email protected] and tell us which page and why. We will take it down while we work out what happened.

You can delete any of your own photos from its page at any time. Ask us to close your account and everything you posted goes with it.

This is a small site run for the fun of it. It may be slow, may break, and may go away. We do not promise it will be available, that nothing will be lost, or that everything posted is accurate. Keep your own copy of anything you would miss.

This site is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. Nothing here costs money, and to the fullest extent the law where you live allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it or from being unable to.

Some places do not permit those limits to be excluded. Where that is true, they apply only as far as that law allows, and the rest of these terms stand.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia in the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts sitting in Georgia, and by using the site you agree to those courts hearing them.

If you live somewhere that gives you rights you cannot sign away, this paragraph does not take them from you — your local consumer law still applies, and this clause yields to it.
